Chocolaaaaaaaaaaates! (Diabetic rush!)

Kinder Eggs!

Just received a bunch load of Chocolates from relatives in Singapore!
There was an amusing story behind it though. My Tita and Tito had to buy me chocolates on the count that I always post foodie stuff on my Facebook page. And they had to buy me the BIG ones on the count of, well me.
This is going to be a sweet weekend!

Uncharted 3 is Charted!

While waiting for a gazillion years, I have finally played this game, AND FINISHED IT in one day!

I must say the graphics are so polished but the female characters look very different. But, having said that, they're still hot. :D

Nathan Drake never looked cooler escaping death. haha.

Eargasm...LITERALLY.

I'm not an addict when it comes to music. But I prefer my sound to be high-def, or hearing the sound clearer than it's supposed to sound.

That feeling that there was a little "byte" of sound in between those bass beats.

That's what's always fascinates me.

Back then, I used to compress all my songs so that I can fit all of them to my limited memory mp3 or phone. But through the wonders of technology, gadgets with the additional "GB" term start sprouting out like daisies, getting larger in sizes even no one can imagine 5 to 8 years ago.

You were one of the cool kids if you had an mp3 with a "GB" instead of a "MB". I particularly remember the Creative Zen Mp3 player and how i was saving all my money just to buy one of those.

Now, it's ipods, android phones, itouches and the like. I'm just waiting for when they release the iBoard and some shit. haha
Riiiiiiiggggghhhhttt....

Now going back, gadgets with memories going up to 160gb can store high quality songs even no one can imagine. The song, Bohemian Rhapsody, i thought, was originally up to 5MB in size. But through proper searching, was a whopping 12MB at the least with it's original version. You can literally hear the footsteps inside the studio where they recorded it.

And to better hear that type of song, you need equally(or better) high quality earphones(or headphones).
Apparently, I have 7 for each situation.
1. (3) Apple Ipod Earphones

2. Beats Studio (White)

3. Monster Turbines

4. Beats Pro

5. Beats Tour (5th Gen)

Why this much earphones/headphones/earplugs?

I'm a bit OC so I carefully selected each instrument for a specific use, namely:

Apple Ipod Earphones - for casual and work related music listening. It's easier to put it on and put it back, especially when there is a phone call.

Beats Studio - For long journeys and primarily if  really want to get into the song with no outside interference. It's like you have a room with music to yourself.

Monster Turbine - it's a portable version of the Beats Studio. Bass, Treble and noise cancellation are all there. You really hear EVERYTHING.

Beats Pro - Imagine the Studio with no power source and still the same quality of headphones. With a sturdier structure and sharing capability that allows you to share what you're listening with another set of earphones or headphones.

Beats Tour - Though the Turbines take the cake for audio quality, the tour isn't far off when it comes to that Boom factor. Plus, it's stylish cord and moisture-proof quality make it perfect for exercise and running.

Some may call it overkill. I call it, useful. :)

Happy Chinese New Year!

The holiday eating virus has struck again. This time it's in Chinese New Year! Mom won't let up with the oh-so-delicious food and my body is feeling the effects from it. All the weight has come back and heavier than ever. Must-resist.....oooh. ribs. :D
Oh crap. Perfection.

Enjoy the little things

Just like in the movie, "Zombieland", you just have to stop for a while and enjoy the little things. Because you never know, you might just have missed a lot. :)

oh god yes.
