Meet Oprah!

Look at THAT face.

She's our Labrador Mix baby. You can tell on how she's accustomed to being carried around. But don't let this fool ya. She can be a handful.

Deep down we all want a Zombie Apocalypse.

We've all seen the movies,
Read all the books,
Scanned all the Comics,
Even played all the games.

But what does this all mean?

I was first introduced to the concept of the undead walking the earth ever since I can hold a PS1 controller. The game?..

Resident Evil 2
the cover was an inkling on how nail-biting the game could be.
Me and the cousins (and occasionally a braver sister) were playing this edge-on-your-seat game set in a city where flesh-eating, decomposed figures walk (-ish) the streets, attacking any living being they set their rotting eyes on. It used to scare the sh*t out of me, knowing it can happen as the story of the game implies.

And then it hit me, while I was in my early 10's, Resident Evil started to produce movies. And as the loyal gamer that I am, I waited for it to show in the local cinema.

It was my first Zombie Flick ever.

I got fascinated and researched about these (hopefully) fictional beings. Zombies, apparently, are infested with some kind of Virus that produce reanimation once the cognitive function of the brain ceases to work. Which means, you become a Zombie when you are braindead and exposed to this chemical. Unfortunately, the chemical also renders to make you braindead once it enters your body and starts eating away at your whole body. Therefore, "reanimating" you to one of them.

I took every single word from this to heart.

The only effective way to stop a Zombie, like all films, books and comics say is shutting the brain altogether. Meaning, "blow its brains out." Shoot the head, cut the head, smash the skull, and the list goes on.

You can't control them. You can only hope to contain them. Or if that fails, become one of them.

Ever since that game, I have been a somewhat "Fan" of a Zombie Apocalypse, researching if there are reported incidents involving these things. But, sadly, they will only stay a fantasy....for now.

Everyone from gag sites to forums are taking this topic to new levels saying that they already know how to protect themselves and preventing this from happening.

But are we really ready? Ready to pull the trigger on our former loved ones now reduced to rotting pieces of meat trying to eat our brains out? We may never know, but I can say that when it really comes.

I'm damn sure ready.

..and deep down, we all really want a Zombie Apocalypse.
